Saw a Brute conversion on the 4 door Wrangler. Looked awesome. Made me actually want a Jeep. Saw this one cruising the streets of Jackson Hole.

Brute’s are sick. There is one two door I see regularly the own dips one of the old dudes that met at McDonalds on Wednesdays.

AEV makes some surprisingly high quality stuff. If you ever get a chance to look at their parts up close, they’re pretty impressive compared with most of the other jeep junk on the market (looking at you, Rough Country).

Also, Jackson is my favorite place on Earth, next to the East side of Yosemite. My jealousy level is somewhere around 8.5/10 right now.

I was surprised at how much it looked like a production model as it drove by. We should be going to Yosemite in about a week. That’s the plan at least. We are just in Jackson for the night. Stayed in Montana last night, and head to Oregon tomorrow. This is an interesting place. It’s definitely touristy, and I know about that from growing up in Florida, but it still retains its charm.

Enjoy that trip! I’m up to a 9.3/10 jealousy level now!

EDIT: Also, try to get to the east side of Yosemite if you want to escape the tourists. The West side is full of people from the SF Bay area. There’s a little valley on the East side of the Kuna Crest just south of highway 120 that’s absolutely heaven.

We are going to Yosemite, but our tight timeline to get to Sequoia for the night will probably relegate us to just the west side. Yesterday we went to Crater Lake. It was absolutely beautiful. Today is the first of two days in Redwood National Forest. Can’t wait.
